Knit & Natter

 Knit and Natter

When: Every 2nd and 4th Tuesday afternoon

     Time: 13.30pm - 15.30pm

Where: St. John's Community Church Hall

St. John's Knit and Natter is a friendly and informal gathering, where there are usually about 20 people, who have a common interest in knitting, crochet, or any other aspect of textile craft work, to meet together to share their interest, pass on their expertise, or just have a good chat with a cup of tea and biscuit, all for a small charge of £1 per session.

Everybody is welcome -  you don’t have to be a member of St. John’s. It doesn’t matter if you are a complete beginner, or a lifetime exponent of a craft, you will be welcome. It’s an opportunity to learn new skills, or pass on to others your own interest, skill and experience.

Each year items are produced for charitable causes, one example being these knitted teddies - gorgeous aren't they?

Different teddy bears are also provided for every Christening candidate at St John’s.

From October 2015 people are also welcome to borrow books from our Lending Library during our usual Knit and Natter sessions. This is available to the whole community of Walton.

If you want to get more information, please contact either Molly or Daphne through the Church or via the email address kandn@stjohnshigherwalton.org.uk or just come along on the day.
